Import from your website (Scrape)

Pull a page's content into the knowledge base from a URL.

If the information already exists on your website, you don't need to retype it. The Scrape tab on the Knowledge Base page fetches a page's content from its address and turns it into a knowledge-base document.

  1. Open the Scrape tab

On the Knowledge Base page, switch to the Scrape tab in the left column.

  2. Paste the page address

Paste the URL of the page (e.g. your about page or a service page) and fetch it. Menus, footers and cookie banners are stripped automatically — only the real content remains.

  3. Review and save

A preview appears with the title and content, both editable. Trim anything you don't want, then click Save as Document — it joins the knowledge base and syncs like any other document.

Tip: Scrape one page at a time and skim the preview before saving — a clean, focused document beats a long noisy one.

Warning: Scraping copies the page's content as it is today. If you later change the page on your site, the document does not update itself — re-scrape or edit it in the dashboard.
