Switching journeys on

Three requirements on your side, then we switch it on per project.

Journeys are off by default and are switched on per project by us, not by a toggle in your panel. The reason is what the feature is: this permission lets the assistant read your pages and click on them. Three requirements have to be met on your side first; you can see them on the Journeys page.

  1. Domain verification switched on

While it is off, the widget answers on any address. That is defensible for a chat window and not defensible for something that clicks on your site.

  2. At least one verified domain

The assistant will only ever act on addresses you proved are yours.

  3. Your explicit agreement

A plain statement of what Pommy will be able to do, and what it will never do. You agree to it in writing, and you can withdraw it later.

When all three are ready, the Journeys page shows a Request activation button. That sends the request to us; we review it and switch the feature on. The page changes on its own once it is on — you don't need to ask twice.

Warning: If a requirement stops being met later — domain verification switched off, the agreement withdrawn — journeys stop being offered to visitors, even though the feature is still marked on. The panel shows what is missing.

Turning it off#

Switching journeys on is ours; switching them off is yours. The Journeys page carries a Turn journeys off button, and it takes effect immediately: journeys stop being offered to visitors and the engine is no longer loaded on your site — the widget behaves exactly as it did before the feature existed. Granting this permission is our call because it lets the assistant act on your pages; revoking it can never depend on us.

Nothing is deleted. The journeys you wrote and your written agreement stay where they are, so turning it back on is a request, not a rebuild.
